The three are senior section engineer (signal) and in-charge at Balasore Arun Mahanta, Md Amir Khan, a section engineer, and technician Pappu Kumar. While CBI is tight-lipped, a faulty repair work on a signalling device located just ahead of the accident site shortly before the crash is being probed as the possible reason for the triple-train crash.
