Yamuna level continues to dip, but rain forecast a dampener

The Yamuna water is receding and its level constantly falling, giving the people of Delhi and its government a breather. But dark clouds are gathering elsewhere which might cast a shadow over the situation in Delhi. Maintaining its downward trend, with the volume of water from Haryana’s Hathnikund barrage getting gradually reduced, Yamuna was flowing at the 206.72-metre mark at 9pm on Saturday, almost two metres less than the record high of 208.66 metres registered on July 13
