The Supreme Court has endorsed a Calcutta High Court order allowing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate a recruitment scam in West Bengal municipalities. The court also supported the findings of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding the scam's links to another corruption case involving alleged bribery in the appointment of government teachers.
