Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday refuted allegations of “fake” and “state-sponsored” encounters of gangsters in the state and told the Supreme Court that its guidelines had been duly adhered to, including holding magisterial inquiry in all such cases, and no evidence has so far been found to blame the UP Police.
