Manjeet Lal, one of the workers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel for the past six days, is the only surviving child of a father who lost his elder son in a construction accident in Mumbai. The family is anxiously waiting for Manjeet's rescue and hopes for his safe return. Other families of the trapped workers also express uncertainty about the condition of their loved ones and are desperate for any concrete progress in the rescue operation.
