On Diwali, 3 Indian musicians to light up Rome’s Pauline Chapel

Hindustani classical vocalist Supriyo Dutta, sarod player Partho Sarothy, and tabla player Sanju Sahai have been invited to perform at the Pauline Chapel in Quirinale Palace, Italy, on Diwali. The historic building in Rome is one of the official residences of the president of the Italian Republic. The concert, described as a "musical meditation" for Diwali, will be broadcast live on a radio channel. Dutta will present a bandish with references to Goddess Jagadambika in the lyrics.
