After 7 extensions, ASI submits survey report on Gyanvapi

The Archaeological Survey of India on Monday submitted its report on the scientific survey of the Gyanvapi mosque complex in two sealed envelopes before Varanasi district judge Ajay Krishna Vishvesha, who scheduled the next hearing for December 21. The ASI sought seven extensions to completed the survey. One envelope contained the report, while another had a list of articles found in debris at the mosque compound and deposited in the treasury under the supervision of the DM, standing government counsel Amit Srivastava said.
