As allies attack Congress, Mamata says she will skip INDIA meet

Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee expressed on Monday her disappointment with the election results in three Hindi heartland states, emphasising that it was "a defeat for Congress and not a defeat for INDIA". She also announced her decision not to attend the bloc's meeting at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's residence in Delhi on Wednesday, stating that she was "not informed earlier".Criticising Congress's strategy, she remarked: "The electoral strategy must be right. Don't expect to win elections by delivering speeches."
