Will challenge HC's Gyanvapi order in SC, says Jamiat

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind (JUH) plans to challenge Allahabad high court's order on the right to worship at Gyanvapi complex in Varanasi. Maulana Arshad Madani, JUH leader, hopes that such issues in Kashi and Mathura would not arise due to the 1991 Act. JUH will go as far as the law allows. Madani supports the survey of Gyanvapi Masjid but criticizes the controversy raised against the 1991 law. He mentions the Babri Masjid and Idgah of Mathura as examples.
