Nine people have been arrested for killing an elderly couple and their granddaughter on the suspicion of practising black magic in Gundapuri village, 150 km from Gadchiroli, on December 6. The accused have been identified as the couple’s sons, Ramesh and Vinu, and other relatives. The police nabbed all the nine accused. While Devu Kumoti (60) was hammered to death, his wife Bichhe’s (55) throat was slit with a sharp weapon in their asleep.
