24 pilgrims, including 10 children, died when a tractor-trolley carrying 54 villagers fell into a roadside pond in UP's Kasganj district. The driver lost control while trying to avoid a collision with a car, resulting in the vehicle plunging into the pond. The accident deeply affected Kasapurvi village in Etah district, along with three neighboring villages under Jaithara police station.
