The Indian Medical Association (IMA) opposes the National Exit Test (NExT), stating that it jeopardizes medical education in India and threatens the survival of medical institutions, especially those in underprivileged communities. IMA also criticizes the use of the same exam to test both licensing requirements and postgraduate entrance assessment, calling it illogical.
