Isro will launch INSAT-3DS, a satellite that will enhance meteorological observations and improve weather forecasting and disaster warning in India. The satellite is fully funded by the ministry of earth sciences and will be launched on board a GSLV F14 rocket. The GSLV can be used for launching various spacecraft for earth resource surveys, communications, and navigation.
