Shibaprasad Hazra and Uttam Sardar, close aides of fugitive TMC strongman Sheikh Shahjahan, were arrested in Sandeshkhali after gang rape and attempt-to-murder charges were added against them. Protests against Shahjahan's associates continue in Sandeshkhali Block II.
