Tejas Mark-1A flies with India-made digital flight control comp for 1st time

Tejas Mark-1A prototype with the digital fly-by-wire flight control computer (DFCC) flew for the first time on Prototype LSP-7 developed by the Aeronautical Development Establishment. Under the Rs 46,898 crore contract inked with Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) in February 2021, 83 Tejas Mark-1A have to be delivered to the IAF in the February 2024-February 2028 timeframe.
