Describing the UCC draft report as 'a momentous occasion for the entire nation' and a landmark step towards making Uttarakhand the first state to implement it post-Independence, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated during an interaction that the state has established a model for the Uniform Civil Code that can serve as a blueprint for other regions in the country.
