In the event no arrangement works out to attain the 45+ seats goal in Lok Sabha elections, BJP may offer Rajya Sabha seat to an MNS nominee, preferably Bala Nandgaonkar, who had defeated OBC leader Chhagan Bhujbal from Mazgaon, said a top BJP leader. He further said Raj Thackeray's son Amit may be appointed on the legislative council from governor's quota.
