Calling abrogation of Art 370 a black day no offence: SC

In a historic ruling, the Supreme Court declared on Thursday that the 'right to dissent lawfully' is integral to the right to life. The court stated that labeling the revocation of Jammu & Kashmir's special status under Article 370 as a "black day," along with expressing wishes for Pakistan's independence day, would not be considered an offense of promoting enmity between groups or communities on religious lines under Section 153A of the IPC.
