Calling the freezing of Congress’s bank accounts as PM Narendra Modi’s ploy to cripple it for the Lok Sabha elections, the party leadership Thursday said it does not have a rupee to spend and has not been able to start its poll campaign during the crucial month ahead of voting while BJP is splurging money across the country like never before. It demanded that Congress be allowed to use its bank accounts.
