Even my borewells are dry, says DKS as B'luru faces crisis

The water crisis in Bengaluru has reached a critical point, with over 3,000 borewells, including the one at Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar's residence, running dry. This alarming situation highlights the city's severe water scarcity, exacerbated by a depleted groundwater table caused by a deficient monsoon and prolonged dry spells. The urgency of the issue was further underscored when tankers had to be called in during a meeting on water scarcity at CM Siddaramaiah's home office, located just 2km from Vidhana Soudha.
