20 aspiring cops defy flood to reach exam centre in Gadchiroli

In Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, police intervened to rescue 20 candidates stranded by floods while traveling to a recruitment exam. The candidates, from remote Maoist-affected villages, were ferried across rivers and provided food and lodging before reaching the exam center on time. Despite severe challenges, including submerged roads and rain, the police’s efforts ensured a 99% attendance rate.
