TN-based space startup launches India’s first reusable hybrid rocket

Following India's first National Space Day, Tamil Nadu-based Space Zone India launched the country's inaugural reusable hybrid rocket, Mission RHUMI-2024, from Chennai. The rocket, equipped with a hybrid motor and parachute deployer, carried Cube and PICO satellites aiming to collect data on global warming. The initiative highlights India's advancements in cost-effective and eco-friendly space technologies.
