The National Medical Commission has pulled back the Competency Based Medical Education Guidelines, 2024, due to controversy over reintroduced topics like 'sodomy and lesbianism' as unnatural offences. Other outdated medico-legal subjects were also included. The NMC will revise and release updated guidelines soon.
