MPCC president Nana Patole expelled Amravati MLA Sulbha Khodke from Congress for anti-party activities, anticipating her joining the Ajit Pawar-led NCP. Khodke is expected to become the NCP candidate from Amravati in the upcoming assembly elections. Khodke, who won from Amravati as a Congress nominee in 2019, is the third Congress legislator expelled recently.
