NCP (SCP), led by Sharad Pawar, announced its first list of candidates for the Maharashtra assembly polls, including 11 of its 12 sitting MLAs. The faction will compete against Ajit Pawar's NCP in 13 key constituencies, including Baramati, highlighting internal party strife. The election outcome will determine the dominant faction in western Maharashtra.
