Two first-year BSc bio-chemistry students at Government College Kariavattom were attacked by SFI activists, resulting in severe injuries that required hospitalization. The students were forced to drink spittle-mixed water and were beaten with lethal weapons. Seven final-year students have been charged with various offenses.
