Gatling gun declared obsolete in 1911, but Army has last one that still fires

Locating a Gatling gun isn't simple, and finding one in working condition is even more challenging. The world's inaugural rapid-firing multiple-barrel machine gun, devised by an American doctor in 1862, was deemed obsolete by the US army in 1911. Subsequent inventions led to the creation of lighter and more lethal machine guns, rendering the Gatling outdated.
