On Saturday, the government appointed Sanjay Jaju, an IAS officer from the Telangana cadre, as the new Secretary of Information and Broadcasting (I&B). Apurva Chandra, who was serving as the current I&B Secretary and also holding additional charge of health, has been designated as the new Secretary of Health.
