Govt extends Rs 35,000cr plan to boost income of farmers

The government has approved the continuation of PM-Aasha and a subsidy on phosphatic and potassic fertilisers for the upcoming rabi season of 2024-25, with an outlay of nearly Rs 60,000 crore. This move aims to ensure minimum support prices for farmers and provide affordable crop nutrients.
